Kinabatangan River Wildlife Cruise

Cruise the Lower Kinabatangan, a Ramsar wetland, at dawn or dusk to spot proboscis monkeys, orangutans, Bornean pygmy elephants, hornbills and crocodiles on the banks. Most visitors stay at river lodges in Sukau, Bilit or Abai, about 1.5 hours from Sandakan, and longer stays raise the odds of sightings.
