Wellington Cable Car

The cable car climbs a 609 m track from Lambton Quay to Kelburn in 3–5 minutes, running about every 10 minutes (visitor fare $7 one way, $13 return). At the top are the free Cable Car Museum and the Wellington Botanic Garden, which you can walk down through on the way back to the city.
