Teide Cable Car

The cable car climbs from 2,356 m to 3,555 m on Mount Teide in under 8 minutes, and tickets (from €24) are sold online only; time at the top is limited to an hour, and hiking to the summit needs a separate national park permit. Wind can delay or close it, closed non-slip shoes are required, and children under 3 and pregnant passengers cannot ride.
