A coach takes you on the 35-minute Route of the Volcanoes through Timanfaya's lava fields, and at Islote de Hilario staff show how hot the ground still is; El Diablo restaurant grills food over a natural heat well. Tickets (€30) are online-only for a fixed time slot—arrive 15 minutes early, and bring warm layers from October to April as it is windy.
