Gornergrat Railway

The cog railway from Zermatt climbs to about 3,100 metres, where more than two dozen four-thousand-metre peaks, including the Matterhorn and Dufourspitze, surround the Gorner Glacier. In summer, walk to the Riffelsee to see the Matterhorn reflected; in winter, there is a toboggan run from Rotenboden to Riffelberg.
