Stroll the traffic-free Grand-Pont and the alleys past the Cathedral of Our Lady and the Witches' Tower, then climb to the hilltop ruins of Tourbillon Castle and the fortified Valère church. Back in town, look for Valais specialities such as raclette, apricots, saffron, wine and dried meat.
