Zytglogge (Clock Tower)

Just before every hour, a crowing rooster starts the figure play: dancing bears, a jester, Cronos turning an hourglass and a golden knight striking the bell, above an astronomical clock and musical mechanism from 1530. On a guided tower tour you climb about 130 steps past the medieval clockwork to views over the UNESCO-listed Old Town.
