Former British Consulate at Takao

Completed in 1879 as the first consulate Britain built in Taiwan, it is the oldest surviving modern Western building on the island. Follow the old hillside path linking the consul's residence and the consulate for views over Cijin fishing port and Sizihwan. Closed on Wednesdays.
