Grand Palace & Wat Phra Kaew (Temple of the Emerald Buddha)
The official residence of the Kings of Siam since 1782, with Wat Phra Kaew and its Emerald Buddha, dressed in one of three seasonal costumes, inside the compound. The 500-baht foreigner ticket also covers the Queen Sirikit Museum of Textiles; tickets are sold until 15:30, and the official dress code bars sleeveless tops, shorts, mini skirts and torn or tight pants.
