Derinkuyu Underground City

A rock-carved city reaching about 85 m deep, with stables, cellars, dining halls, churches and a 55 m ventilation shaft that doubled as a well; only part of it is open to visitors. Passages are low and narrow, so it may not suit those uneasy in tight spaces.
