Göreme Open Air Museum

A UNESCO-listed cluster of rock-cut churches and monasteries where hermit monks lived from the 4th to 13th centuries, with Bible-themed frescoes in places such as the Dark Church, Elmalı Church and Tokalı Church. An audio guide is available; the ticket office closes 45 minutes before closing time.
