Grand Bazaar (Kapalıçarşı)

One of the world's oldest covered markets, dating to the 15th century, with around 61 lantern-lit streets and thousands of shops selling carpets, lamps, ceramics, leather and copperware. Haggling is part of the fun; the Beyazıt Gate bears the imperial tughra.
