Ben Thanh Market

Saigon's best-known market, entered through the clock-tower South Gate on Le Loi Street: fabrics and dried food near the front, fresh produce at the North Gate, handicrafts and souvenirs at the West Gate, plus an indoor food court serving dishes from all three regions of Vietnam. After 19:00 night-market stalls take over the surrounding streets, and Ben Thanh metro station is right across the square.
