Saigon Central Post Office
A working post office built between 1886 and 1891 to designs by French architects Alfred Foulhoux and Henri Auguste Vildieu, with a vaulted glass-and-iron hall, vintage wooden phone booths and two hand-painted historic maps of Saigon and southern Vietnam above the entrance. Souvenir counters line the hall; the neighbouring Notre-Dame Cathedral is still under a long-running restoration, so admire it from the square.
