Ride the cable car up Fansipan, the Roof of Indochina

Sun World Fansipan Legend's cable car glides about 6 km over the Hoang Lien mountains in around 15 minutes; from the top station about 600 steps lead to the summit marker. It is much colder than Sa Pa town, so bring a warm layer, and check the website as the cable car closes for a few weeks of annual maintenance.
