Mount Etna Cable Car & Summit Area

The cable car climbs from the 1,920 m station to 2,500 m on Etna; the Tour 3000 continues by 4x4 bus in summer or snowcat in winter to 2,800 m, then a short walk with a volcanological guide up to 3,000 m near the summit craters. Conditions at altitude are much cooler than on the coast, so bring a warm layer.
