Ride the Ha Giang loop over Ma Pi Leng Pass

This multi-day mountain road trip crosses Heaven's Gate Pass and the Dong Van Karst Plateau, a UNESCO Global Geopark, detours to the Lung Cu flag tower near the border, and follows Ma Pi Leng Pass high above the Nho Que River. Ride with a hired driver if you are not experienced, travel only in daylight and carry cash, as ATMs are scarce.
