Ho Chi Minh City Museum (Gia Long Palace)
Housed in a neoclassical building designed by Alfred Foulhoux and completed in 1890, later known as Gia Long Palace, the museum tells the city's story across nine themed rooms, from archaeology and 300-year-old maps to the Viet, Cham, Hoa and Khmer cultures that shaped Saigon. Open 8:00–17:00 daily for 30,000 VND; the grand staircases and retro corridors are popular photo spots.
