Thien Hau Temple (Cho Lon)

One of the oldest Chinese temples in Saigon, built in 1760 and dedicated to Mazu, goddess of the sea, with lantern-hung courtyards, incense smoke and delicate porcelain figurines on the roof telling religious stories and legends. Enter through the green iron front gate and leave by the side gate; Quan Am Temple, built by Hokkien immigrants, is nearby on Lao Tu Street.
