Accademia Gallery (Michelangelo's David)

Home of Michelangelo's original David, moved here from Piazza della Signoria in 1873, together with his Prisoners and a musical-instrument museum that includes a Stradivari viola and cello. Open Tuesday–Sunday 8:15–18:50 (last admission 18:20); reservation is suggested, and entry is free on the first Sunday of the month.
