Florence Duomo & Brunelleschi's Dome

Climb 463 steps (no lift) between the dome's two shells, passing close to Vasari and Zuccari's Last Judgement fresco, to the view from the base of the lantern. Entry is by reservation only; the €30 Brunelleschi Pass (valid 3 days) also covers the Bell Tower, Baptistery, Opera del Duomo Museum and Santa Reparata. Not advised with heart conditions, vertigo or claustrophobia.
