Florence / Ponte Vecchio
Ponte Vecchio
Florence's 14th-century bridge has been lined with goldsmiths' workshops since 1593, with Vasari's elevated corridor for the Medici running above them. It was the only Florentine bridge left intact in World War II; the Vasari Corridor can be visited with a separate booking through the Uffizi.
