Piazzale Michelangelo

Giuseppe Poggi's terrace, completed in 1875, is Florence's classic viewpoint over the Duomo, Palazzo Vecchio, Santa Croce, the Arno and Ponte Vecchio toward the Fiesole hills. Bronze copies of Michelangelo's David and four allegories stand in the centre.
