Wat Chaiwatthanaram

Built by King Prasat Thong on the west bank of the Chao Phraya, outside the city island, and counted among Ayutthaya's most beautiful ruins. A large central prang rises on a square base with four corner prangs, surrounded by a gallery of stucco Buddha images; foreign visitors pay 80 baht.
