Established in 1889, Dong Xuan is Hanoi's largest market, a maze of stalls selling local delicacies and handicrafts at the northern end of the Old Quarter. Walk there along Hang Dao, then turn onto Cau Dong to find a side street of wholesale spice and fruit vendors.
