Hai Van Pass

Named "ocean cloud", this 21 km coastal road climbs to 496 m over the mountains between Da Nang and Hue, with jade-green sea, jungle-clad hills and misty peaks along the way. Go by motorbike tour or car and stop at the old fortress gate at the top for the view; you can also cycle it or watch the coast from the train below.
