Japanese Covered Bridge (Chua Cau)
The roofed wooden bridge that symbolises Hoi An, built in the early 17th century with a small temple to the weather god Tran Vo Bac De inside and dog and monkey statues guarding its ends; it has recently been carefully restored. Crossing it is one of the choices on the Ancient Town ticket — come early in the morning to see it before the crowds.
