Lantern Boat Ride on the Hoai River

At dusk, wooden rowing boats take small groups along the Hoai River past the lit-up old town for about 30 minutes, often with the boat rower sharing local stories. Buy a paper lantern from a riverside vendor, light the candle and set it on the water; on full-moon nights hundreds float at once. Agree on the price before boarding.
