Long Bien Bridge and Banana Island Walk

From the Old Quarter, follow Hang Khoai and Xuong Cau streets past Long Bien Station onto Long Bien Bridge, Hanoi's wartime supply lifeline over the Red River. A stairway from the bridge leads down to Banana Island, a patchwork of farmland and riverside settlements; return along the other side of the bridge.
