Thailand–Burma Railway Centre

An interactive museum and research centre next to the Kanchanaburi War Cemetery that tells the story of the 145 km railway built by prisoners of war during World War II. Photos and exhibits cover its planning and construction, life in the camps, medical care, deaths, bombing and the aftermath; open daily 09:00–17:00.
