Koh Ker (UNESCO World Heritage)

Capital of the Khmer Empire from 928 to 941 under King Jayavarman IV, Koh Ker holds 169 ancient sites including 76 temples and was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2023. Its state temple Prasat Prang is a tiered pyramid; a separate US$15 day ticket from Angkor Enterprise is required and the site closes at 18:30.
